The database includes early images of Dallas, Harvey's Lake, Huntsville, Kingston Township, Lehman, Noxen, Shavertown, Sweet Valley, and Trucksville. The Judith Simms Dawe Photographic Collection highlights photographs collected by the Back Mountain Historical Association, which works in collaboration with Misericordia University and the Luzerne County Historical Society to promote the history of the Back Mountain.

Back Mountain photographs can be donated to Misericordia University's Sister Mary Carmel McGarigle Archives or the images will be scanned and promptly returned.
